Lawn care for thicker, greener and healthier grass

A good lawn comes from regular mowing at the right height, feeding at the right time and fixing problems before they spread. We look after all of it, so your grass stays dense and even all year.

Mowing and edging, done the right way

Cutting too short is the fastest way to weaken a lawn. We mow at a height set for your grass type and the season, keep blades sharp for a clean cut, and change the mowing direction to avoid ruts.

Edges are re-cut and trimmed on every visit, which makes even a tired lawn look sharp.

Our lawn care programme

Mix and match these treatments, or let us set a year-round programme that does each one at the right time.

Fixing patchy and problem lawns

Bare patches, yellowing, moss and weeds are usually signs of something underneath: compacted soil, poor drainage, too much shade or the wrong grass type. We find the cause first, then treat it.

Sometimes the answer is a simple change in mowing or watering. Other times the lawn needs aeration, overseeding with a shade-tolerant mix, or turning a difficult corner into a planted bed.

Common questions

Still unsure? A gardener will happily answer by phone or email.

How often should my lawn be mowed?

During strong growth, most lawns need mowing weekly. In slower periods, every two to three weeks is usually enough. We adjust the round as growth changes.

Yes. We prepare the soil, level it and either sow seed or lay turf, depending on your timescale and budget. We’ll give you watering instructions for the first weeks.

We choose products suited to family gardens and tell you when the lawn can be used again after treatment. For most granular feeds that’s once they’ve been watered in.

Moss usually means shade, poor drainage, compaction or mowing too short. We remove the moss and address the cause so it doesn’t simply grow back.
